If I compare how I felt about a fire alarm going off from when I finished St.Aldhelms and started Rossmore, to the last 3 years of my time at Rossmore, its quite different.
In Year 7/8, whenever a rare fire bell goes off its "omg run run run run run we're gonna burn! Form an orderly queue!" and panic. Now when a not so rare, 5th fire bell of the d ay goes off its "groan and stay sitting down, carrying on with work or whatever I was already doing" maybe the occasional "For Fucks Sake Miss/Sir!" from someone else in the class. So to hear the head teacher saying "Oh the schools getting better we've only had 4 this week!" when it's only monday is NOT what I want to hear that crazed, delusional, always cheery old bag saying. I wanna hear her scream and shout at the idiot that keeps setting them off! Its deffinatly not getting any better! I think on average, theres 10 fire alarms a week at my school. I don't think that thats a good average. At St.Aldhelms it was something like 3 fire alarms a year. I think I prefered it like that than having to stand in the cold every day. Well after the teachers convinced us to "vacate the room" which always takes a while.
And just on friday, the smartness off some of the year 9s there is amazing! He actually came over to me and my friends who happened to be stood by a fire alarm button [which had already had the glass smashed on it may I add] and he said, in these words "Oi if I set this alarm off you ain't gonna grass me ups is you? Will you? Say it was you if they think it's me you're stood 'ere"
I know he's stupid, but surely he's not stupid enough to think we'll fall for that! Well theres not even much to fall he he was pretty blunt about what we should do. Well Small Little chav with a mono brow and a silly pattern shaved into your head, we aren't going to fall for that. Dumbass.
Marks out of 10 for my school? I'd say 3.
Deffinatly not getting any better, no matter what colour you paint the corridor.
